MUSG to host excursion to second Hunger Games movie premierePosted: November 12, 2013
Marquette University Student Government will host an excursion to special premiere screening of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire on Thursday, Nov. 21, at the Marcus Ridge Cinema in New Berlin.
Join fellow Hunger Games enthusiasts at the movie event of the fall for the second installment of the hit trilogy series. Students hoping to catch up on the action phenomena still have plenty of time to pop in the first film and experience what the buzz is all about.
Tickets for this exciting event will be sold for $12 each and include the film pass and bus transportation. Tickets are now available in the Brooks Lounge, located on the first floor of the Alumni Memorial Union. Tickets will also be available at tables in front the Brew Bayou and Marquette Place this week and next. The first 160 students to purchase tickets will receive a $3 dollar voucher.
Busses for the 10 p.m. screening will depart from SHAMU, the area between Schroeder Hall and the Alumni Memorial Union, at 9 p.m.
For those Hunger Games devotees who just can’t wait for the premiere, MUSG encourages the incessant re-watching of the official blockbuster trailer. And as always, may the odds be ever in your favor!
