Marquette University Student Government will begin its 2013-14 MU Unplugged Series on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, at 8 p.m. Formerly known as the Coffeehouse Series, MU Unplugged’s premiere event will feature singer-songwriter Teddy Geiger.

Enjoy a relaxing evening on Westowne Square complete with the eclectic sounds of Teddy Geiger. Performing since 2005, Geiger’s “For You I Will (Confidence)” topped the charts and his recent album release, The Last Fears, and single, “Love and Run,” are bringing Geiger back into the spotlight.

Olivia Millerschin, a Michigan musician since birth, will open for Geiger.

This event will be the first of an entire semester of free coffeehouse concerts. Upcoming performers include:

  • Doyle Brothers – Thursday, Sept. 26
  • Jareh Mahone – Thursday, Oct. 10
  • Madison Letter – Thursday, Nov. 7
  • Nelly’s Echo – Thursday, Nov.14

MU Unplugged is free and open to all Marquette students. If inclement weather should arise, the event on Thursday, Sept. 12, will be moved to the first floor lobby of the AMU.
