MUSG and Campus Ministry to host discussion about love

Marquette University Student Government and Campus Ministry will host a discussion based around the idea of love. “What is Love?” will take place on Wednesday, April 17 at 5:30 p.m. in AMU Ballroom D.

Students will share a meal with individuals of different faith backgrounds and engage in a discussion about their definitions of love. Questions prepared by student leaders and the ecumenical campus ministry will be provided for attendees to guide conversations.

Discussions will be centered around the concept of God’s love, rather than a romantic love. Participants will delve into what God’s love means in relationships with Him and relationships with other people.

The conversations are designed to engage students of all faith backgrounds with a goal of providing new perspective to all participants.

In addition to fruitful conversations, a delicious dinner will be provided. Market house salad, vegetarian pad thai, chocolate layer cake and mini cheesecakes are just a few of the courses to be expected.

Students of all faith backgrounds and students with no faith background are highly encouraged to attend this meaningful event. Don’t miss the opportunity for a free meal and a chance for a broader perspective on the concept of love.
