Business & Administration committee update – Feb. 18Posted: February 18, 2013
The MUSG Business & Administration Senate committee is hard at work formulating a productive schedule of legislative projects, many stemming from student concerns. Our ambitious and active committee members are focusing on such important issues as campus traffic concerns, healthy vending machine options, fair trade products, a Good Samaritan policy regarding alcohol consumption and reporting and a cooperative effort with Students for Environmentally Active Campuses (SEAC) to reduce plastic water bottle consumption on campus.
Our goal is to use our broad spectrum of legislative specialties to handle a multitude of university concerns, from group specific issues to issues that affect all members of the Marquette University family. In the near future, we will be writing and administering surveys and meeting with University administrators and student groups pertinent to our goals.
Please feel free to contact me or any member of our committee or stop by the MUSG office to voice your concerns. Our normal meeting time is on Mondays at 7 PM in the MUSG office.
