Coffeehouse Series 10/25

MILWAUKEE (Oct. 25th, 2012) – Are you looking for a night of free entertainment? The Marquette University Student Government Coffeehouse Series consists of a variety of acts coming to campus on Thursday nights and sharing their music with students. This edition of the Coffeehouse welcomes Kurt Scobie and his amazing songwriting talent to the Marquette campus. Opening for Kurt will be Marquette’s own Ian McCullough.

Armed with a keyboard and a voice that has been melting hearts all over the country, Kurt Scobie will be taking the stage at Marquette this Thursday night, October 25th. Kurt Scobie has played over 400 shows since 2008 and has shared a stage with artists like The Civil Wars and Montell Jones. His songwriting and his authenticity is something Marquette students are sure to love and appreciate.

Freshman Allie Maglio and Emily Gorz said MUSG Coffeehouse was “a nice way to start the weekend, just to sit back and listen to music” they loved “the intimate and cozy setting” of Coffeehouse in general.

Come relax and listen to great music for a night, coffee & cookies will be provided. Get there early; the first ten people receive a free coffee mug!
