Christmahanakwanzika

MILWAUKEE  (Dec. 2, 2011) –Marquette University Student Government along with the diversity commission will be hosting a holiday themed after dark program on Friday, Dec. 2 called Christmahanakwanzika. Christmahahakwanzika will be held in Marquette Place, the AMU ballrooms and the 2nd floor lobby of the Alumni Memorial Union from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

During Christmahanakwanzika students will have the opportunity to participate in a number of holiday activities revolving around Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanza. There will be arts and crafts activities such as: Christmas tree ornament making, cookie decorating and a gingerbread house decorating competition.

Also throughout the evening students can partake in carriage rides, dreidel games and perform Christmas carol karaoke with a live band. There will also be a special performance by the Marquette acappella group The Naturals. Snacks and beverages will also be available during the evening.
