MILWAUKEE (Oct. 18, 2011) –MUSG will be hosting Salsa Magic, Tuesday, November 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Alumni Memorial Union ballrooms. The event is free, and snacks and water will also be provided.
Lee Smith, Salsa dancing extraordinaire, has won numerous awards and has taught over 100,000 college students, across 47 states, how to Latin dance. After three hours of salsa dancing instruction, Washington D.C.’s own DJ Lee “El Gringuito” will allow individuals to put their lessons into action by lighting up the dance floor with different types of dance such as: salsa, merengue, bachata, reggaton, reggae and hip hop.
Lawrence University is quoted on the Salsa Magic website saying, “Most attended act of the year. You have to have this act!” The University of Maine also stated, “It’s the best act we ever brought to our campus.”
No matter your level of experience, DJ Lee will be sure to make your salsa…magic.
